Canada Qualifies for 2022 FIFA World Cup

Thirty-nine countries have already advanced for the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar, following Wednesday’s completion of the CONCACAF pool round. Leading up to the final CONCACAF matches, Canada had already been assured of a place in the tournament, when Mexico and the USMNT joined them.

Canada calls for a celebration

Ukraine, Scotland, or Wales

Wales, Scotland, or Ukraine will fill out Europe’s remaining quota of 13 spots at the World Cup. Scotland and Ukraine will face at Glasgow in June, with the victor going on to face Wales in Cardiff in a playoff final later in the month.
