Nick Pope Set To Arrive at Newcastle United Following Successful Deal With Burnley

Goalkeeper Nick Pope finally transferred to Newcastle United after a £10 million deal with his former club Burnley was finalized. The contract has a four-year term and it was completed following the relegation of Burnley to the Championship.

The main goal of the English player is to be a part of the first 11 of the 2022 World Cup team of the United Kingdom. The deal with Burnley was made on the last day of the transfer window.

Pope will join Newcastle

Upon his arrival to the St. James Park, Pope will have to compete with the goalkeeper of the club, Martin Dubravka. The player will have to wait to see if he will be able to play for the club in the Championship.
