Fixtures Announced for Premier League 2022–23

The 2022/23 Premier League schedule has been released, and we will open the season on Saturday, August 6, in the first game of the year. We’ll kick off the new season on a Friday night away in London, as we did last year. The game at Selhurst Park will begin at 8 p.m. (UK).

About the 2022-23 Season

For the 2022 World Cup, the Premier League will begin sooner than usual due to a break in November and December. On November 13, the season will come to a close with the final round of matches.

This season’s Premier League games will resume on December 26, once World Cup matches are over, on December 18. On Sunday, May 28th, 2023, the regular season will come to an end and online betting Singapore fans can look forward to the next season.

It’s a 20-team Premier League this year, with Arsenal up against Aston Villa and Bournemouth up against Brentford and Brighton up against Chelsea and Crystal Palace up against Everton and Fulham up against Leeds and Liverpool up against Manchester City and Manchester United up against Newcastle, and Nottingham Forest up against Southampton.

Following the timeline

Our first home game is against Leicester City the following weekend, followed by trips to Bournemouth, Fulham, and Aston Villa in the first month of the season.

The first derby of the 2022-23 season takes place at Emirates Stadium at the beginning of October. At home against Liverpool next, then at Leeds, and then again at Emirates Stadium to face the defending champions Manchester City.

Newly promoted in late October, Nottingham Forest will travel to Emirates Stadium for a match against Arsenal. Wolves will be our final match before the players leave for the Qatar World Cup, and Chelsea will be our first away game.

The league returns on Boxing Day, when we play West Ham United following the World Cup break. On New Year’s Eve, we go to Brighton and then return to the Emirates for our New Year’s Day match against Newcastle.

After the FA Cup campaign begins, we have home games against Tottenham and road games against Manchester United in January. Our final match of the Premier League season will be against Wolves on May 28.

In order to meet broadcast and European commitments, all of the scheduled performances are subject to alteration at any time. Only the first weekend’s games have been chosen for national TV coverage.

An exciting new season

When it comes to winning the Premier League, Manchester City will be the team to beat once again. Erling Haaland, a sensational free agent signing from Borussia Dortmund, has joined the Sky Blues’ existing star-studded squad.

The biggest challenge to Manchester City’s title chances comes from Liverpool, which made a splash this summer with the signing of Darwin Nunez. In addition to winning the FA Cup and EFL Cup last season, Liverpool came up short of a quadruple by placing second in the Premier League and falling in the Champions League final to Real Madrid.

Spurs, Chelsea, and Manchester United are among the outsiders hoping to win the league this year, with the latter hoping for a comeback year with the new manager Erik ten Hag.

Three new teams will join the Premier League next season: Fulham, Nottingham Forest, and Bournemouth. There were relegation battles in the Premier League for Burnley, Watford, and Norwich City in 2013. England’s next champion will be decided by a total of 380 games during the course of the competition.
